And so it goes on...
The saga of the 'closed eyes' continues. Mum say's, 'enough is enough' and I have to stop trying so hard. But the harder I try not to try so hard, the worse the squint gets.
Anyways, you can still see what I'm trying to show you. It's my latest artwork - Heshin Landscape. Reckon it could sell for a coupla thousand but I'd never part with it. Too much hard work. And to top it off, I threw the biggest tantrum when the paint ran out - don't reckon I stopped crying for a good 1/2 hour. Got sent to my cot and everything for it. Not even, 'Liji sad!!!! Liji crying!!!!' at the top of my lungs combined with climbing my feet up the side of the cot, got me out of bed. So, as you can see, even though you might pay me good money - I can't part with my Heshin Landscape - it's far too sentimental.
It's also come to my attention that I haven't filled you in on 'the new house.' Here's a few pic's so you can get the idea. It's really quite cool.
I've had both my Grandad's, Granny and Nanny over working with me in the garden to re-create overgrown botanical beauty. It was a hard working Anzac Day. I only stopped once for my mid day nap.
My favourite bits of the day were watching Grandad Towns with the chainsaw cutting down the trees. It was 'a bit scary' though so I watched from the safety of Mum and Dad's bedroom. Then there was the pruning with Nanny and digging up the garden with Granny. Grandad Davies has been banging and drilling all over the place - doing what he calls 'maintenance.'
Inside the place is pretty cool too. Mum and Dad keep re-arranging things though and I keep losing my toys in the process. As long as I can find my guitar, all is well.
Oh. And guess what else? We have a mouse. Not the pet kind. The un-pet kind. The kind that runs out from behind a box when it's dark at night and makes Mum jump onto the couch and cover her eyes and wimper.
Next blog I'll fill you in on this 'baby' Mum and Dad keep talking about that's meant to pop up sometime.
