What I did this week
This week, like every week, was full of drawing, reading, collecting, cleaning, playing with friends, play group, refining my coffee skills and waking up real early. But particularly blog worthy are yesterdays events and todays.
Yesterday, I hung out with Mum and Cill at the beach. I dug holes with my spade, splashed and jumped in the water and had a merry old time. After the beach we walked (I prammed) up to the shops and got some food for serious curry cooking. I felt rather tired so I had a sleep. Unfortunately I missed the shop trip and the bus ride home too. Still sleeping. And I didn't even wake up when Mum put me in the car, drove home, took me inside, changed my nappy and put me to bed. I was really tired after all that sun and surf. Actually, I made a new record for day sleeping - 3 hours and 15 mins!!!! I'm pretty proud of that.
Today has been an exciting day too. Mum and I went in search of the rubbish truck. It was running late again. We had to walk for 45 minutes to find it. Then we followed it all the way to the beach. I love the rubbish truck. And the man who drives the rubbish truck always wears yellow and waves. After watching the rubbish truck for a while we went down to the park where I had a swing. I sang, 'Zoom, zoom zoom. Up in the sky, I fly. Zoom, zoom, zoom.'
We also went adventuring on the beach. I adventured up onto the rocks and found lots of seaweed and these funny squishy things. Mum didn't know what they were - maybe shark eggs she said. I called them 'Sqishy squishes.' And that is exactly what I did after the photo. It was so gooey. I have lots of new shells for my 'collecting box.'
I've also found today that my shadow is a good playmate when Djangers and Xavey aren't around. I asked Mum to take a photo to show you but she said I am too quick and blurry.
Well, I really am tired. So's my Mum. I betta let Mum go and do some uni work (and/or sleep) now. Love you guys. Liji Beau
