Having trouble with the camera

Hi guys. Just wanted to ask if you have any tips for me on how to keep my eyes open in photos. This week has been a real tough one. I just can't seem to do it anymore. :: Sigh ::

Anyway, that first photo was meant to be a shot of me throwing a bucket real high. And, that second photo was meant to be me saying, 'moon!' Can you see it in the background?
